■Description of the mission
Marketing Executive is a member of the cluster marketing team assisting Director of Sales and Marketing. His/her duties are to focus on maximizing the company / brand awareness, increasing the sales / revenue and take a responsible for creating and maintaining The Ascott Limited’s brand & marketing and communication activities in Japan.
■Main missions & responsibilities
External communication
- Public relation (Media release, interview, photoshoot / filming, etc.)
- Brand control on digital field (Maintain / update the brand website, digital banner, text, etc.)
- Brand control on non-digital field (Corporate identity, official photo, signage, in-room collaterals, all items which shown to the public or guest for both, text and artwork)
- Campaign and promotion (Creating the promotion, expand the campaign created by HQ, etc.)
- New opportunity (New collaboration / partner for both, cluster and property)
- Respond to all enquiries from media
Internal communication
- Translation / text review for HQ or other cluster use (mainly English to Japanese)
- Respond to all enquiries from HQ and other cluster
- Update company`s activities and share / educate to Japan cluster staff
Sales support
- Create sales material (promotion flyer, collaterals and give away item)
Others
- Guide, instruct and support Marketing Executives so that his/her performance will be productive and efficient.
- Manage event for both, internal and external including sales and marketing activities
- Create media plan and lead of it
- Manage marketing budget
- Support cluster and property`s purchasing process (POA, workflow and contract)
- Join POP team and support marketing tasks
- Join ASR program team and lead this project within Japan
- Travelling to on-site inspections, photoshoot, filming, interview, project managing events and etc
- All the task / work related to marketing, branding, communication

■Qualification & Experience 1. Pro-active, confident communicator and presenter 2. Be a strong team player with a 'can do' attitude 3. Excellent creative and persuasive copywriting skills 4. Understanding the hospitality and real estate industry 5. Strong in project management 6. Understanding the digital and traditional media landscape 7. Have a full understanding of guest and media needs & relationship 8. Organized approach to work with faultless prioritizing skills Personality: 1. Creative, open minded, team-work oriented person; positive, passionate and easy-going. Be able to work under high pressure and challenges. Hands-on & cost-consciousness. ■Relational Qualities & Skills 1. Fluent in Japanese and English speaking and writing (nice-to have) verbal and written communication skills in Chinese 2. Comfortable with computer software (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and in a technical environment (nice-to have) illustrator, Photoshop 3. To have a commercial sensibility, quality orientation skills in customer entertainment and a keen sense of the corporate organization 4. To be able to effectively communicate with people from different cultures. 5. Give attention to details |
